Dear friend,

Urgent! Tell the NRC not to extend the lifetime of aging Comanche Peak nuclear reactors.

If the NRC approves an application by Vistra, two Comanche Peak nuclear power reactors will produce deadly radioactive waste for another 20 years past their retirement dates of 2030 and 2033.

Send a message to the NRC urging them to hold in-person scoping meetings and extend the deadline for requesting a hearing.

Safety, security and contamination risks would increase. The reactors are in Glen Rose, Texas, 40 miles southwest of Dallas/Fort Worth, home to 7.76 million people. An accident or radiation release could lead to massive disaster.

Submit your comments by January 30, 2023 to request a hearing and an opportunity to intervene in the license extension process.

Tell NRC to retire reactors, not risk our health and safety

Thanks for all you do!
