If the NRC approves an application by Vistra, two Comanche Peak nuclear power reactors will produce deadly radioactive waste for another 20 years past their retirement dates of 2030 and 2033. Safety, security and contamination risks would increase. The reactors are in Glen Rose, Texas, 40 miles southwest of Dallas/Fort Worth, home to 7.76 million people.
