Dear friend, The California legislature is planning to vote on Senate Bill 846 TOMORROW EVENING, August 31, extending the operation of Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant past its planned closure. This bill would slash California's climate progress and waste billions of dollars subsidizing dirty, dangerous nuclear energy. Californians deserve better than unsafe, unreliable, dirty energy. The truth is that keeping the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Plant open any longer than planned is a dangerous waste of effort and money.
